Some highlights of my week

Febr. 8: Working on my 365 project

Febr. 9: Had to see the doctor as my ear was very painful.

Febr. 10: Taking a shower

Febr. 12: It snowed during the night.

Febr. 14: Having dinner on Valentines Day

Febr. 13: Our headmaster will retire at the end of the schoolyear. We gave him a surprise party last Friday.

Febr. 15: We had friends coming over for lunch. They have Singstar and they brought it with them. I loved it!!!







Febr. 16: Some other car must have hit my mirror. It was hanging apart when I saw it.

February 5th: Finally!!!! The kit has arrived. Now I can start.

February 1st: Going out for lunch. We had lobster and I drank a mojito to start :-)

February 2nd: We had snow this morning. I took this pic on the playground of our school.

February 3rd: Every evening while watching Home and Away I eat some fruit. Right now, I'm addicted to red oranges

February 4th: Next month, we have to go to a birthday party and the theme is 'Disco'. We decided to go to a shop where you can rent costumes.

February 6th: My mum and Walther. We went out for dinner.

Baileys always loves the bathroom but she know she's not allowed to go in there. So every now and then (when we forget to close the door) she jumps between the towels and sleeps over there.

She loves to rub her face.

Is the weather that bad at your side of the world too?? I don't mind if it rains when I'm inside the house with cosy clothes on and a nice book. But I hate it when I have to work and run from my car to school, from playground to classroom, .... Yikes!!

Thank god it's Friday!!!

January 11

It was just a lazy Sunday. Relaxing and watching some DVD's. In the evening we ate French bread with cheese. Of course we drank some yummie wine with it.

January 12

The first day of the working week. I ate some white chocolate for breakfast.

January 13

One of my pupils is in hospital and the kids made some lovely cards for her. I went to the hospital this evening to see how she was.

January 14

I baked some chocolate muffins yesterday and they are so yummie!!! I was looking forward to the moment when I came home and could eat some :-)

Yeah, Gillmore girls is on tv. I'm off, girls! Love this show :-)

365 days - January 9 and 10

Januray 9
Since more than a week, it's freezing like hell. We didn't have such weather for the past 10 years. When I wanted to go to work this morning, I had problems with the doorhandle of my car. I could unlock my car without any problems but when I was inside the car, I couldn't close my door anymore. I tried several times but with no result. I started to panic as I had to be at work so I phoned my dad to know what I had to do. I couldn't leave my car alone because I couldn't close it anymore. My dad told me that he would come over to help me but luckily he didn't have to. After trying several times to close it (and touching all kind of stuff in the door) it finally worked. Pffff, I was so happy to drive to school without any further problems.

January 10
I took down the Christmas tree. Don't you think it's strange that decorating the tree takes more time than removing all the stuff :-)

I don't know how it is indicated in English on Blogspot (or any other blogsite) but I've added the blogs I read very often on my list and now I can see which blogs are updated. I can find it under the 'Dashboard' link on top. It's so much easier than browsing through all the blogs to see if they are updated. :-)

2 new days

in my 365 days project.

I tried to bake banana cake but it seems like somthing went wrong. Look at the inside of the cake. I threw it away cause it doesn't like tasteful. (January 7)

Jan 8: I took 2 pics today and I don't know what to choose. The one above is a page in a scrapbook magazine. I tried my new camera while changing the diafragma.

This one is my boyfriend playing his Playstation 3. He's playing Brother in Arms.

So now I'm asking your help. Do I have to take the first pic of the pic with my bf as picture of day 8.

365 days

I decided to take part at the 365 days project by Becky Higgins. It took some troubles to order the kit but Lilith told me that she got the confirmation e-mail :-). All we have to do now is wait till it arrives.
Until I can start scrapping, I write down what I did everyday and I take a pic too. Below you can see my most recent ones.

Some of the gifts I got for my 29th birthday

I'm feeling so weak today. My throat is still sore but my head is a bit better because of the pills the doctor gave me. All I want to do is sleep but I can't because then my mouth gets very dry and I wake up for some water. The pills give me a bad taste in my mouth too, yikes!!

Hope you are feeling better than I am. What a bad way to start the year 2009 :-)

My boyfriend turned 40 years old yesterday. He had the day off so we enjoyed it the fullest.
First we went to a shop where they sell fishes. Eric has a salt water aquarium and I told him that he could choose some new fishes. We ended up buying 2 clownfishes (nemo), an anemone plant and 2 black and white fishes. It was great to see him so happy.

In the evening we went out for dinner and then to our favourite bar called 'Paljas'. We drank lots of champagne there. The music was good so this was a great place to end our evening :-)

Right now, I'm still wearing my PJ's as I feel ill. I have a painful throat and head. All I want to do is lay down in the sofa and watch some tv.

Yikes, tomorrow I have to go back to work again after 2 weeks Christmas holiday.
