New challenge

Yes, I know, I'm a bit late but I can explain. The kids in my class have tests right before the Christmas holidays so I have lots of correction work. Then I need to write reports about their results and next week, the parents come over to school to discuss the results. You see, I don't have any free moments right now. Grrrrrrrr

It's All About You or Me.....the challenge

Thank you for another fabulous Scrap and Stamp challenge! Now that the Christmas Holiday season is in full swing and we are hustling and bustling about to find the perfect gift for that someone special, we thought we would take a moment to share a little about what makes us special! And we definitely have a team full of special gals right here!

The challenge this week is "All About Me: With at least one stamp." If you are like me most of my scrapbook pages hold pictures of other people and their triumphs and stories. Very seldom do we get to see the person behind the camera and the face of all that special handwritten journaling. Now is your chance. We want you to do a page totally about you. It can be when you were little or big, about what makes you tick, heck we'll even take what makes you sick LOL We just want to know you and what better way than for you to take the opportunity to leave a little bit of you on a page.

Our sponsor this week is the fabulous Say It With Letters! If you haven't been to the store be sure to stop by and check out all the wood letters, chipboard and more. Be sure to stop by the craft blog and say Hi!!

One lucky participant will receive an 8 inch Mixed letter spelling "Jolly" in our chunky and cute Swedish Fish lettering style. PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL RECEIVE UNFINISHED LETTERS. PHOTOS SHOWN ARE EXAMPLES OF WHAT YOU CAN CREATE. A $20.00 value.

So before you run off to create a fabulous layout for this weeks challenge be sure to check out the design teams wonderful creations!

Some layouts

I was looking through my picture folders on my hard disk when I saw these layouts. I don't remember if I already posted them because it has been a while since I made them.
Our cat Minoe had to stay inside the house for 6 weeks when we moved to our new home last year. She's a real outdoor cat so she hated to be inside. The moment she was allowed to go outside she took off. We saw her once again but now she totally disappeared :-( At least we still have our other cat Baileys.

My new haircut on October 6, 2007. It's already 2 years ago, oops!

My addiction to books. I have tons of them.

I'm in the DT of a sketch blog. Please, have a look at
The site is in Dutch, but hey, who needs the language if you have sketches and pics :-)
Thanks for all your comments on my last post. I'm feeling much better now. No more fever but still every now and then a painful head and trouble with breathing deeply.

I'm ill, I have the flu. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, I hate to lay down on the sofa the whole day. I wanted to do some scrapping but I just don't have the energy to do anything else than lay down. OMG, I hate it!!!!!!

Hope you feel better than I do ;-)

An update

I got inspired by a photo wall at my friend Kelly's place. So I took my paint brushes, black and white paint, letter stamps, ... and started. I ordered black and white pics of me and Eric, my sister and my, Eric's kids, my dad, ... and they are all framed now. So what do you think? You can see the pic in a larger size if you press on it.
On October 15th, I went to the forest with my class. We are learning about the autumn, trees, mushrooms, ... The kids loved to be outside. I enjoyed the nice weather and took some pics.
