Christmas decoration

Indeed, it's that time of the year again. I really love this period. So many lovely decorations, a warm house, a big christmas tree in the house, ...
It has been snowing the past weeks but now it has melted away.

Wreck this journal

Every year from November 1st till November 11th, there is a giant book fair in Belgium. My dad and I are addicted to books so every year, we have to go there. I bought 2 novels and also this one:
I've heard so much about this book and I always wanted to have one by myself. I was so surprised to see it there and it's in Dutch too!!!! I didn't know they translated it. Can't wait to get started with it. Do you have one too?????

My dad gave me a fat book about sewing. There are plenty of techniques explained in it and the best part is that it shows pics of every step. I totally love it. I wanted to start sewing right away and guess what??? I'm now wearing my first selfmade skirt. So damn PROUD of it!!!

The winner can choose 2 digis of their choice.

In the fall 2007, my friend Daphné and I went for a walk and took some fall pics. I used them to create a mini album. You can see some of my pages below:

Oh yes, if you decide to play with us at SSS, don't forget to use at least 1 stamp!
Happy Halloween!

I used the sketch of Piens Weblog to create this layout about a fisherman in Djerba. The photo is not the best quality because you can see the flashlight reflection. On the bottom of this post, you can see the same layout without the flashlight reflection.

Thanks for visiting my blog!

Our new challenge at Scrap and Stamp is to use paint on the borders of your pictures. You can win a gift certificate of $15 in this shop: I didn't have time to scrap this week so I took one of my pages I made a long time ago. I think I created this one in 2006. I think you can see that my style has changed by the years. I liked it a lot back then, but now I'm not sure about it anymore. Oh well, I guess everyone has those feelings about a few layouts, don't you?

Fall is in the country and you can see it when you look outside: rain, rain, rain,.... Ideal for some scrapping, don't you think?
