Worried

Yesterday was an aweful day. When I wake up and go downstairs, my cat Baileys is waiting for me at the kitchen window. This morning: no Baileys!! I didn't panic as I thought she was still walking around somewhere. I went outside and shouted her name but she didn't turned up. Before I went to work in the afternoon, I had another look in the garden and in the house but still no Baileys. I started to worry as it's not normal for her to be away from the house for so long. Then I returned from work and asked Eric if he had seen her but he hadn't. The whole evening I was worrying about her. I even walked through the neigbourhood, shouting her name but I didn't find her. I looked in the streets if I didn't see a cat that was hit by a car but lucky, I didn't. I got a very painful head and went to bed at 9.30 pm. Then suddenly, at 1 am (when Eric came home from closing his pub); Eric shouted to me (I was sleeping) that Baileys was back. I was sooooo happy that I jumped out of my bed and ran downstairs to cuddle my sweet kitty. What a naughty cat she was to stay away the whole day and night. This morning, I was afraid to let her out of the house. I went for a run and before I started I did let her out. When I came home from running, she was waiting in the garden. I can't tell you how relieved I was to see that she didn't ran away again.

O I know that feeling, it's terrible not knowing where they are. And then suddenly they show up as if nothing has happened.... Glad she's back (I love her name).

I'm so glad that your baby made it home safe and sound! I know the feeling when a beloved pet goes missing. It's such a joy when you're reunited. You realize just how much you love them after they've been gone. I wonder where she went?? Ha ha!
