Sketchy Thursdays

The weather is wonderful over here. Plenty of sun and nice temperatures. Yeah, spring is in the air!!! It made me wanna scrap. I used the sketch of sketchy thursdays and some pics of our vacation in Djerba, Tunesia back in 2008.

Reflections + sketch 228 Pencillines

The prize for playing along with us in this challenge is a cute little chipboard mini album from Creative Imaginations.
Our challenge this week will probably push you to really think. I know it did some of our team. But I hope you will take the challenge anyway. We want to see a layout about you, 'Reflections of you, right now' to be exact. If you are like I am you don't do enough pages about yourself. This will be a great one for our kids, grandkids, etc to get a feel of the real us one day. Don't forget the stamps!!


I created this layout about myself right now. I used the new Prima Flowers mask. I'm so in love with it.

Vintage Wednesday - music

On Céline Navarro's blog, you can find her Vintage Wednesday music list. It inspired me to have a look at the hit list in the year that I became 18 (1997).
I still remember this song. It makes me think of the boy that I was totally in love with at that time. We stayed together for 3 years.

Happy Valentines Day!!!! Yeah, I know, I'm a bit early but better early than late, don't you think?

And another Scrap and Stamp Saturday challenge has started.
This weeks challenge is "Love is in the Air." Show us some love in your layout, family love, pet love, coffee love..lol anything at all!

DT Call

Our fantastic group is looking for some new DT members!! Please read the call and give it a try. You never know.

It is that time again! Time for us to add to our team! Would you like to be part of a fun group of ladies? Then we would love to have you!
We are looking for at least 4 more talented people to join our fabulous team!


The Requirements:
The term will be for 6 months (March 1st-Sept. 1st). You will need to submit one page every other week based on the challenges that you will receive ahead of time. The DT is split into 2 teams to make it easier on everyone. I try to give them out at least a month in advance so that you can work ahead if you wish. Of course we all know that life gets in the way at times and that is okay too. I just ask that you let me know as soon as possible if you are going to miss.

You will also need to leave some love to those who play along with us. We all love comments so we like to spread the love!
You will be working with your own supplies mostly. I am sorry that I can not offer you supplies each month but occasionally our sponsors do offer some fabulous goodies for the design team to play with.

All you need to do is send the following to us at scrapandstampsaturday@gmail.com with DT CALL in the subject line by Feb. 26th. I will be announcing the new members shortly afterwards!
1. A short bio-please include any design teams you have been on if any, and if you do sketches
2. 3-5 of your favorite layouts featuring stamping, after all that is what we are all about here!
3. A link to your blog if you have one

We would also love for you to play along with our upcoming challenges if you get a chance. This will give us a chance to see a little more of your work!

Scraptastic 2011

Last year was the first edition of Scraptastic and I have to say: It was FANTASTIC!!!!! Very talented teachers, lots of fun and scrapbooking of course.

New Challenge

So has everyone gotten into the swing of the New Year yet? We are trying around here. Thanks for joining us for another Scrap and Stamp challenge. I hope you will play along with last weeks challenge too, you still have a week!

This week we are keeping the challenge easy. I know I am needing to get back into the swing of things after the holidays.
So this week it is an anything goes challenge. So just have fun with it. Just remember to use at least one stamp on your layout!
