Spring again

Here are some pages of my Thailand album. I made them 2 weeks ago but didn't find the time to download them on my pc.


Spring is in the air again!! We are having fanatstic weather for about 3 days now. The temperature is around 18°C. When I came home from work yesterday, I changed my clothes and started running. I did lesson 5 this time and it's getting better. I sweat a lot while I run but I guess that's me burning calories, haha. I could run in a t-shirt with short sleeves. It felt like heaven.

This afternoon I worked in the garden (cut the grass, don't know the word in English). I cleaned the stairs in the house too. The windows are open in the bedrooms to let the spring air inside. After running yesterday evening, I started cleaning the upstairs (bathroom, bedrooms). I guess I have spring cleaning spirit!

Last night was a bad night for my head again. It was so painful. I went to bed at 9 pm and normally I go to sleep at 11 pm. I hope there is nothing wrong with me. Maybe it's just because I'm not used to teaching fulltime again.

It's hard to work fulltime and then start cleaning the house, preparing lunch for the next day, prepare dinner, ... I don't have time to scrap anymore . I'm used to scrap every day so that's a huge change for me. Well, I love teaching so I don't mind working fulltime again. It's only for 1,5 week and then it's my normal schedule again.

Yesterday evening, my cat Baileys did something bad.
She's my little sweetheart but not right now. Guess what she did??? Well, she often drinks out of the glass bowl where my fish swims. Suddenly I hear the sound of glass on the ground. Yep, she managed to break the glass bowl. There was water everywhere and I couldn't find the fish. Suddenly I saw him/her under the kitchen table. Well, the fish is still alive but I don't have a bowl to put the fish in so now she's swimming in a plastic thing. While I was cleaning the floor I cut myself in the thumb with the glass. Grrrr. What a bad evening!!! Baileys is so scared now that she hides herself under the sofa. Well, that is what she deserves. Naughty kitty!!!

This wednesday is another fantastic spring day! I took a pic of the blue sky this morning but I didn't find the time to upload it yet. I'll try to post it tomorrow.
I've been cleaning the living room cause my cats leave hair everywhere. I've done some ironing and laundry too. The laundry is outside now. It can dry in the sun.
My friend Daphné is coming over this evening to scrap together. It will be lots of fun as always. We talk a lot and get some scrapping done too. Well, not as much as when I'm alone but it's nice to have some company. Oh yes, she has a blog too. You should visit it at www.xanga.com/dafkapin

Spring is here!

Hi everyone,

How was your weekend?? I hope you had a relaxing one.
Mine was fine. Did nothing special. On Saturday I made a scrapbook page about Eric and I who went jetskiing in Thailand. After scrapping I watched an British detective movie called Taggart. I always watch that kind of movies on Saturday evening. We have one channel on tv that broadcast this kind of movies on Saturday. I got this habbit since several years as we watched it together with my dad when I was living at home.

On Sunday I went to Erics pub at noon. There were lots of people that I knew so I stayed there till Eric closed at almost 3 pm. Then I had to start cooking lunch. Yeah, I know, it's late at 3 pm but we can't eat until Eric is at home so I stayed with him this time. In the evening I was scrapping and reading a book. I really like the book. I started it on Friday and it's almost finished!!
I took a pic of myself wearing a pair of jeans that were too small for me for many years. So now they finally fit again. I guess I could even have a smaller size. What a happy feeling!!!

I decided to enter a CJ. I received the regulations yesterday and we are supposed to send our CJ before April 1st. I'm so excited about it. I still have to make my own CJ so I thought to cut cardstock into 8x8 and attach them using bookrings. Then I can add more pages later. I guess that's the best solution, don't you think? I can't wait to see all the other CJ's.
