Friday

Let me think about what happened the past days. Oh yes, I had to start in that other school. I was a bit nervous when I arrived at the school but everyone was very friendly to me so I felt good. The kids seem nice too. I didn't have to teach (only starting Monday) but the principal asked me to come and meet the kids. The other teacher of grade 1 took both class groups. I'll be there till the end of next week and I don't mind at all. It's a pitty that it is for only 1,5 week but at least I'll be paid more this month. Hmmm, what can I do with the extra money???? Lot's of things that I can spend it on but I think I'll save it.

Thursday evening we planned to go out for dinner at Oostende. That's a city about 60 km away from our home. Last year we found a very nice restaurant there so we made a reservation for this evening. It's a gastronomic restaurant. We paid 75 euro per person but all the wine and champagne was included. The menu had 6 dishes so that was a lot. The food was fantastic. My diet is totally ruined. I'm sure about that.
After dinner we went to a lounge bar at the casino. The decoration was wonderful. You can see it on the picture on top. It must have costed lots of money to decorate that bar. Hmmm, the prices were rather high too but it was a nice experience.

We booked a hotel room as we knew that we would drink too much to drive. So this morning there was a breakfast buffet at the hotel. If you know me really good, then you know that breakfast is my favourite meal of the day. I ate lots of things like, chocolate bread, boiled egg, cheese, salami, toast, yoghurt. Yeah, I know!! It's a lot. So now it's official, my diet is ruined. I didn't weight myself today and I don't think that I'll do that before next week on Thursday.

I hope everyone has a nice weekend. Think I'll scrap a bit on Saturday but I'm not at home on Sunday.
