I made a canvas for my sister. First I painted it green, then added the flowers to the picture. Finally I decorated it with owls, more flowers, a deer, title and quote.

What do you think about it? My sister loved it and it's decorating her living room right now.

New bed

We bought a new bed. Our old bed was not good anymore. We had trouble sleeping and we were still very tired when we woke up. Now we have the bed we always wanted. It has a boxspring an

d that's so soft to sleep on. We went to Ikea to buy some new bed sheets and cushions. What do you think about it?

Hey there

Just a quick post to let you know that my mum is doing fine. The surgery was difficult and she had lots of pain. She stayed in hospital for 1,5 week and has to stay at home for about 6 weeks. All she can do is rest and relax. We were all happy to hear that the tumor was not cancer.

I think spring has found it's way to Belgium. The weather is sunny and about 17 degrees. This afternoon we are going to Ikea to do some shopping. We have bought a new bed and it will be delivered next week. On the bed I want lots of cushions and nice bed clothes. I love bright lemon green so maybe I'll try to find some stuff with that colour.

Next week I'll have Easter holidays. Can't wait to have some time to scrap and read books. I'm missing scrapping so much :-(

Surprise birthday party

On Saturday, March 7th, we were invited to a surprise birthday party. We all had to be dressed in a disco outfit. The birthday girl turned 50!! Her husband is a client of our pub so we were invited too. It was so much fun. I danced a lot and even Eric tried the dancefloor :-)

Finally another update

Life has been hectic over here. My mother is in hospital since a week. She had to go through a surgery. I go there every evening so I don't have much time left for anything else.

Three weeks ago, we went to Gent for 2 nights. Gent is a wonderful, medieval city. I went there to study to become a teacher. I stayed there for 4 years. It was like a trip back in time for me :-)

Can you believe this??? This is a pub called 'the littel bike'. It has all kinds of bikes and other stuff on the ceiling. It is so packed with stuff that there are only 2 tables. I guess there is only place for 8 people.

I've done some scrapping!!! Yeah, I know, only 2 layouts. I really should scrap more but I just don't find the time. There are still 6 letters waiting to be answered too. So, if you are one of my penpals, don't worry, my letter will come your way soon :-) I haven't forgotten about you.

My niece gave birth to a daughter last year. The girl is named Hera. I took these pics on the birth party.

My boyfriend Eric had his 40th birthday on January 3rd. We celebrated at the pub where we love to go.

Week 3 in February

Febr. 17th: I love watching the Designers. It was the final episode.

Febr 18th: Need to hurry and leave the house as my friend is waiting for me. We had to go to a meeting for school.

Febr. 19th: Yeah, it's Grey's Anatomy again.

Febr. 20th: It was carnaval at school. This is Gilles, he's only 3 years old but totally in love with me. So funny. His mum tells me that he can't stop talking about me.

Febr. 21: We ordered Chinese

Febr 23: Although it's spring break, I worked for school.
