A few hours left ....

Hi girls,

2007 is almost gone. Only 7 hours left and 2008 will start. Can't believe how time flies. It's like there are only a few months gone since it was January 2007. It was a good year for me but I hope 2008 will even be better. I don't have big wishes for the new year but here are a few things:

- I hope that the renovations at Erics pub will be done without problems

- I hope to move into our new home by July 2008

- I hope to be pregnant by the end of 2008 (no no, still taking the anticonception, don't worry)

- I hope to spend many romantic hours with my bf

- I hope to scrap a lot escpecially with my fantastic 2 scrapping friends Kelly and Daphné.

- I hope to continue my new friendships made this year (Yeah, Kelly, you're one of them)

- I hope to try many new receipes.

- I hope that my family, friends and I will stay healthy.

And above all, I hope you all continue visiting my blog. Thanks for commenting the past year. You are wonderful.

Happy New Year!!!!!

Day 8 - I see ....

We had to scrap about the signs of Christmas in your home and outside. I finished the part about my home but I still need to do the 'outside' part. Didn't have time to order some photos yet. Guess I'll wait till after Christmas.
On the page you can see some of my Christmas decorations in the house.

Day 6 - Good and bad christmas

This time we had to talk about good and bad Christmas memories. My best ones are those of my childhood. On Christmas we went to my aunt and ate a yummie dinner. We got lovely presents and in the afternoon we watched a Christmas movie. A nice, relaxing family day. On the picture you can see myself and my grandmother.
My 'bad' memory is the fact that my boyfriend always have to work on Christmas Eve till 7 pm (most of the time it's later). That's why we only celebrate Christmas Eve together.
Thanks for visiting my blog and let me know what you think about it.

Day 5 - Counting

We don't have the tradition of Advent Calendars here in our family. I remember that 1 year (when we were still kids) my sis and I got one of those calendars. We had to open a little door every day and then we found a little chocolate. Yummie!!! I wonder if they still sell those calendars.

Day 4 - My perfect Christmas

I wrote about my perfect Christmas Eve (dec. 24). We don't celebrate that day with the family as my boyfriend has to work till 7 pm. All we want to do when he gets home is relax. We celebrate with family on Christmas Day. This is what I want on a Christmas Eve:
- my sweetheart
- romantic movies
- candle lights
- beautiful christmas decoration and tree
- yummie food
- white wine
- PJ's
- ...

Day 3: Christmas cards

The 3rd prompt was to talk about Christmas cards. I cutted squares out of Christmas cards I received last year. The big card was made by my sister. The journaling is hidden behind that card.
Thanks for visiting my blog!

Journaling your Christmas - Day 1 and 2

Day 2: Weather
We were supposed to write about the weather in December. How is it like in your country? How should the weather be on Christmas? What do you do when it's cold? And so on. Many things to write about. I choose to write about how much I want to have a white Christmas. I want to walk around wearing warm scarfs and hat. Then I want to curl up in the sofa wearing my pj's and drinking some hot chocolate. Unfortunatly the weather in Belgium isn't like that at all. We mostly have rain on Christmas instead of beautiful white snow.

Day 1:
We had to tell about the reason why we start this journal. What are the motivations?
I have always loved christmas. This part of the year makes me wanna be at home the whole time. I love decorating the tree and the house. In the evening, I lighten up the tree and make it myself comfortable. I can imagine myself as a grandmother, showing her grandchildren this little Christmas Journal.

Thanks for reading about my journal. Love to read you comments so don't hesitate to leave a comment.
Love, Isolde
